CERTIFIED SCHOOL NURSE OR REGISTERED NURSE (FULL-TIME)

2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

FAIR LAWN HIGH SCHOOL

We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper certification.

FULL-TIME CERTIFIED SCHOOL NURSE OR REGISTERED NURSE

N.J. Certificate: Hold a Certified School Nurse certificate or valid Registered Nurse license with a State Substitute Credential

  • Ability to perform health office visits, required medical screenings and administration of student medication
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents, school staff and administration
  • Familiar with charting on the Genesis portal or other educational software applications, preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with at-risk students
