Assisted Care Facility RN

Queens, NY:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team at our Assisted Care Facility in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will have a valid New York State RN license, demonstrated experience working with geriatric populations, and proficiency in conducting Uniform Assessment System (UAS-NY) assessments.

Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and reassessments using the UAS-NY assessment tool.
  • Monitor and evaluate residents’ health conditions and coordinate appropriate care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following current best practices and facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, therapists, and families to ensure optimal care outcomes

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting
  • Experience conducting UAS-NY assessments (required)

Registered Nurse Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time position Monday through Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm
  • Competitive salary of $100K
